Yoga for Stress Relief & Extended Pranayama and Meditation
Wednesdays 6:00-7:50pm

*6:00-7:15pm Stress Relief Yoga: This is a Kripalu style yoga class that is great for the beginner level yoga student, but is open to students of all levels who just want to slow down, stretch, and breathe.  Combining asanas with pranayama (postures with breathing techniques)  in this class, you will flow through gentle sequences in order to free the flow of prana in the body.  At times,  we also experiment with mantras, meditation, and guided relaxation.
 
 
7:20- 7:50pm*Pranayama & Meditation:  (This class is part of Yoga for Stress Relief and is no additional fee.  If you would like to attend this class alone, you may make a love donation.)  Pranayama is the 4th limb on the yogic path, and can be translated as “mastering, guiding, or expanding the life force”.  We will explore various pranayama (breathing) exercises and techniques that greatly benefit the body and mind in various ways. We will then explore different meditation techniques including but not limited to: simple seated, breath, mantra, walking, dynamic, mudra, and yoga nidra.



Weekend Yoga
Saturdays 10:00-11:15am
This explorative go with the flow class will take you as you come and is open to all levels.  Class is taught by rotating teachers including myself, other Branches of Wellness personnel.
Class explorations may include vinyasa, yin yoga, restorative, Pilates, kundalini, or yoga dance movements that are user friendly.  It will be tailored to the needs of those who attend that day!
